Democratic Sneakers designed by Francisco Javier Perez Fagoaga in limited edition exclusively for Coin
After the Democratic Jeans designed by Yuka Morinishi that sold like hot cakes, the next items in Coin’s Democratic Wearproject are the Democratic Sneakers designed by Francisco Javier Perez Fagoaga.
The initiative launched last April by Coin continues in its endeavour to promote new talents whose task is to create a range of limited edition garments for the unique price of 10 Euros.
The graffiti of Mexico City where he was born were the inspiration for the design of the sneakers created by Francisco Javier Perez Fagoaga who trained at Istituto Marangoni in Milan.
"100% pop folk. Only a city as big as Mexico City could mix traditional folk with art and contemporary popular culture. I grew up surrounded by mariachi music, tequila, pyramids and skyscrapers, wearing t shirt and blue jeans. Full of colours, shapes and silhouettes, streets and towns which inspired my passion for the arts and love for design. Democratic Wear Project represents a window to the world where I can share, through design, a little bit of my country; his culture, traditions, art and cutting edge. That’s why........".
