The cookie allows the Website to identify the user’s PC by way of the information memorised therein each time that the user reconnects to the Website using the same PC.

Once saved in the computer, the cookie can only be read by the Website that created it.

What type of cookies does the Website use?

Technical cookies

These are cookies used to guarantee browsing and therefore, the remote transmission of data over the network or strictly necessary for the supply of services as provided by the Website. These cookies are usually temporary, the so-called “session cookies”, and they are issued by the Website on the user’s computer during browsing but are only memorised for the duration of the browsing session. This means that when the user closes their browser, the cookies are erased automatically and disappear, and are not stored on the computer. They are formed by random numbers generated by the server and are used to help ensure that the Website can be browsed safely and efficiently.

Using these cookies it is possible to make browsing easier for the user on the Website, for example, remembering data provided by the user when completing forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognised the user after they have completed the log-in process on the Website (so-called authentication cookies), to customize the website interface according to the user’s preferences, to collect information in aggregate form with regard to the number of visitors to the Website and to the most visited pages (so-called analytics cookies used with partial block of IP), etc.

These cookies do not require prior express consent from the user since they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service required by said Website user (as per art. 122, comma 1, of the Privacy Code).

Profiling cookies

These are cookies that create a user profile, for example, to send advertising messages in line with the user’s preferences: these cookies are issued by the Website onto the user’s computer during browsing and are stored even past the duration of the browsing session and until such time as they expire or are deleted by the user (so-called “permanent cookies”).

The use of this kind of cookie requires the explicit and informed consent of the user (ex art. 122, section 1, of the Code). The user, by accessing the Home Page (or other page) of the Website, viewing the policy statement banner about cookies and reading the information provided, and then proceeding to browse through the website (e.g., clicking on the website page or on one of its links), provides specific consent to the use of cookies. If the user has set their Internet Browser (e.g. Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera) to accept the use of cookies, this is also valid as a form of user consent (ex art. 122, section 2, of the Code).

We inform you that your consent will only be requested the first time you access the Website: then, due to the use of a technical cookie, we will store your consent to allow you to access the Website pages directly when you return (this does not affect your right to deactivate/activate or delete cookies (see section 6.2) at any time: in this case, the Website will require your consent to the use of cookies when you return).

No other tools are used to profile users on this Website (e.g. spyware).

Moreover, should the user register on the Website and specifically authorise their browsing to be monitored, the data relative to the browsing session on the Website may be associated with their personal data.
