TSARA means 'beautiful' in the local language. All products are made by artisans who live in the rural areas of Madagascar. The initiative is supported by UNIDO, the United Nations Industrial Development Agency, which interweaves local crafts and design, ethics, recovery and humanitarian purposes. The project received the ADI Compasso d'Oro Honorable Mention in 2016.
